This is a very common question for us.


A good, but incomplete list of thread pitches follows. There are obviously some exceptions. Please let us know if you see any errors and if you have any additions.



Important abbreviations:


M = metric (inches are implied when there is no metric abbreviation)

RH = right hand  (RH is implied when there is no abbreviation)

LH = left hand

*Accuracy International, SAKO and Desert Tactical Arms utilize non-standard thread pitches. Contact them directly for questions. EU based manufacturers such as Sig Sauer, Glock and HK often utilize metric threads.
